The Oregon Defense Consortia Association (ODCA) was founded in 2015 to support public defense professionals by advocating for fair and appropriate treatment and compensation for its members, and to educate the public and public officials on the important constitutionally mandated functions public defense professionals serve.

Our association has taken on a leading role in representing our members in negotiations with other public defense system stakeholders as Oregon has navigated through a crisis that has staggering constitutional and public safety ramifications. The decisions being made will have profound financial and professional impacts on private practice attorneys who perform public defense and the experts and professional staff that support these attorneys.
